BACKGROUND
From playing the drums since 1995 and taking private lessons, I have learned how to play the drums from the standpoint of making the song, as a whole, work together. I have extensive knowledge of tuning and the needed maintenance of a drum kit because of my experience of playing day after day on tour. I have been always believed that the drummer is the backbone and timekeeper of the band.

EXPERIENCE
Gym Class Heroes       02/2007 to Present
I was hired to be Matt (GCH's drummer) drum tech. I was responsible for setting up the drumset, tuning, changing heads, and maintaining the drumset. I would set up the microphones and cables for the drumset. I also loaded all the equipment in and out of the trailer before and after the show. I would order all needed drum supplies (heads, sticks, and broken parts). I was the contact person between Matt and SJC Drums for all drum repairs. I have since, been dealing with all of Matt's endorsements, maintaing relationships with the companies, and letting them know when GCH are in magazines so they have the opportunity to run ads in the issues. During the GCH Headlining tours, I am the co-stage manager responsible for everything running smoothly. And when needed, I have mixed the band's in-ear monitor mixes.

Downtown Singapore       04/2006 to 08/2006
I was the drum tech for Matt (Downtown's drummer) for 3 regional tours. I would set up his drums every night, polish his drumset, and tune the drums. I would then break everything down and pack it up. Eventually Matt left the band, so I was hired last minute to play a two week tour with Downtown Singapore before they broke up. I played the songs off of "Don't Let Your Guard Down."

For Felix       01/2005 to 07/2006
I moved from Arizona to New Jersey to join For Felix after their past drummer quit. I was able to play songs off of their album "Rise Above" and wrote new songs until the hiatus in July 2006. We played 2 national tours and 5 regional tours with Lorene Drive, The Forcast, Downtown Singapore, Somerset, Rory, These Green Eyes and more, along with playing Bamboozle and Taste of Chaos. In For Felix, I would tune and maintain my drums every night on tour.

Mourning Maxwell       11/2004 to 12/2004
I was MM's Tour Manager/ Guitar and Drum Tech for 2 two-week tours; one being Punk The Clock Vol 1 Tour with Greeley Estates, Bleed The Dream, and Without Wings. The second was with Yesterdays Rising and Dead Letter Diaries. I was in charge of making sure Mourning Maxwell got to venue in time, had interviews, and had enough money to eat along with repairing the instruments and watching to make sure nothing went wrong during a performance.

Ember Recording Studios       09/2003 to 02/2005
I owned and operated Ember Recording Studios. It was a ProTools LE studio that I was located in Tempe, AZ. I also played the drums on five local band's recordings that I engineered. Because of being an engineer at the studio, I learned how to fix instruments and tune them. I also learned how to design and wire a recording studio. I have a college degree for Studio Recording Engineer.

Low Tide       12/2000 to 05/2003
I was a founding member back in high school. We recorded 3 CDs and did regional shows around Arizona. I managed the band and did the booking for all the shows.

OTHER SKILLS
I also have an extensive computer and website background. From September 06 to February 07, I had a job programing webpages for a company in NYC. I feel like that experience can be beneficial to any band that I work for.
I have an AAS degree from Mesa Community College for Studio Recording Engineer, and because of that, I have basic knowledge of how to help set up the stage.
